Research Interests
My research examines how climate change, hydrological processes, and water management interact to shape freshwater ecosystem function. Through hydrodynamic and ecological modelling and forecasting I seek to understand how environmental change influences water quality, ecosystem resilience, and the provisioning of freshwater ecosystem services, with the goal to improve their management now and in the future.
Some of my main interests are:
- lake management and restoration under climate and global change
- integrating data and models to improve mechanistic understanding
- interaction of lake physics on chemistry and biology
- near-term lake forecasting
